CHARLES
DEVIF

[ROLE]AI IN PRODUCTION/[SEC]SECURE BY DESIGN/[STATUS]DEPLOYABLE

I put AI into production — not a POC that dies in the demo, but a feature that holds and whose token bill doesn't spiral (−87% inference cost on my last SaaS). React / Next on the front, and I go down to C firmware when the field leaves the browser.
Master's-level, expert in secure software development: what I ship to production, I also know how to defend.

MISSION
FILES.

Five dossiers. Two show what I do best: ship AI to production without burning the budget, and secure what matters. The rest lives in the archive.

§ 03 :: NOTES

FIELD
NOTES.

Operational logbook — what plays out under the hood, written short, while it's fresh.

ACTIVE

APOGEE-01 — telemetry frame assembly

PUS-C compliant TM frame, CRC-16 encoding, mirror parser on the ground side. The firmware fits in 3 KB of stack, zero malloc. The moment the CCSDS doc becomes readable.

▸ ENTRY 001 / 008
ACTIVE

HELLBOUND — AI refactored to strategy pattern

Enemy behaviors (idle / patrol / chase / search) split one file per state. The 400-line switch had become unmanageable. Simpler to reason about, test, and extend.

▸ ENTRY 002 / 008
ONGOING

Portfolio redesign — phosphor palette + Anton XXL

The site read too generic. Pivot to a committed operator-briefing direction: MGS phosphor palette, Anton for display, Departure Mono for HUD. Codec easter egg as a bonus.

▸ ENTRY 003 / 008
ONGOING

CVGEN-Δ — LLM cost optimization −87%

Strategy selection driven by the incoming profile (junior / senior / career change). Three days comparing outputs, measuring, tightening — down to −87% cost. No magic: measure, choose, measure.

▸ ENTRY 004 / 008
ARCHIVED

AUDIT-CYBER — EBIOS RM methodology applied

Full audit of a critical web stack. Flow mapping, threat scenarios, reduction measures. Deliverable: a detailed report and prioritized remediation plan, landed on an executive desk.

▸ ENTRY 005 / 008
ARCHIVED

IRRIGATION-FE — UX that holds up in the sun

PWA dashboard for technicians under full sun. 7:1 contrast, 56 px touch targets, offline mode. UX proven in the field, with gloves on — not in a meeting room.

▸ ENTRY 006 / 008
ARCHIVED

KITA — multi-provider AI fallback chain

When an AI provider drops at 2am, the cloud router fails over to the next one without a break. Anthropic SDK direct, never LangChain: less magic, more control.

▸ ENTRY 007 / 008
ARCHIVED

Starting at Montpellier Engineering (work-study)

First structured position. Legacy PHP / MariaDB on one side, early-adopter React 19 / Tailwind 4 on the other. Navigating two eras of code in the same day.
